Wednesday nights at Port Elgin Legion Branch 340, Bingo is the name of the game.
On August 28th, it was a lucky night for Eva Moreau when she walked away with the $700 jackpot grand prize.
Kathryn Seville, Bingo Co-Chair presented the winnings to Moreau.
The Legion Bingo is held every Wednesday. Doors open at 6:00 pm and games start at 7:00 pm in the upstairs hall. There is a Jackpot prize of $700 on 53 numbers or a Consolation prize of $200 if not won on 53 numbers.
“Please join us on Wednesday and perhaps you could be our next jackpot winner,” says Rhonda Harrison of the Legion Executive.
The weekly bingo is the Legion branch’s major fundraiser and monies raised go toward supporting the Legion and its many community activities.
