Port Elgin Legion Branch 340 partners with Meridian Credit Union for toy drive

Port Elgin Legion Branch 340, in partnership with Meridian Credit Union, steps up every year to help Santa collect toys and, this year, it appears that everyone has recognized the need and has been generous to the extreme as the toys piled up under the tree.

The Legion Branch and Meridian collect the toys for the Salvation Army Toy Drive and that are then separated into age groups by the Iota Phi Sorority, a Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, an international non-profit women’s organization.

On Friday, December 15th, the partners gathered to collect the toys as Christmas Eve draws nearer.
