Despite a cold north wind, members of Port Elgin Legion Branch 340 paid tribute to Victory in Europe (VE day) on its 75th anniversary May 8th.
Given the time of COVID-19, it was a low-key ceremony as President, Robert Harrison, laid a wreath at Port Elgin Cenotaph on behalf of the Legion accompanied by flag-bearers, immediate past-President Dan Kelly and Alex Taylor 1st Vice-President.
