Retired teachers hold annual Alzheimer’s Coffee Break

For the second year, retired teachers of Saugeen Shores got together for a ‘Coffee Break’.

‘Coffee Break’ is the Alzheimer Society’s major nationwide annual fundraiser where friends, co-workers and customers gather in communities across Canada to raise funds for local Alzheimer Societies. Participants at the breaks make a donation in exchange for a cup of coffee. The money raised stays in the community to help support local programs and services.

In Saugeen Shores for the second year, retired teacher Glenna Snider hosted a ‘Coffee Break’ at her home in Port Elgin for several of her retired peers in support of local Alzheimer care. The group raised $512 in exchange for coffee and muffins.
