It is with profound sadness that the family of Roger Roussel announces his passing on April 5th, 2020 at the Cornwall Community Hospital.
Roger was the beloved husband of the late Albert Downs, loving brother and brother-in-law of Robert, Lise and Micheline Roussel and the uncle of Jonathan Roussel.
He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by everyone who knew him and all those whose lives he touched. A very special thank you to his many friends who were always there for him and to the Cornwall hospital medical staff for their care and compassion.
He will always be remembered for his warmth and kindness, his lovely shyness, his wonderful giggles and his true honesty.
He and Albert lived in Southampton for several years where they had many friends through the arts.
A celebration of life will be arranged and communicated at a later date.
