Ruby Irene Schneidhofer, (nee Walmsley) passed away peacefully at McCormick Home, London on Saturday May 11, 2019 at the age of 77.
Beloved wife of 54 years to Joseph Schneidhofer. Amazing mother to Cathy (Raymond) Martin, Angie (Michael) Gibson, Jo-Anna (Nick) Young and Christine (Robert) Hughes. Loving grandma to Holly, Jarrett, Sarah, Ethan and Quinlan. Dear sister to Verton (Marion), Gord (Liz) and Audrey Lamont. Special aunt to 18 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Charles & Irene, brothers, Howard, Clayton, Lorne, brother-in-law Wilmer, nephew, Michael and niece, Lori.
The family would like to thank the staff at McCormick Home (London) for their care and support over the last two years of Ruby’s life. A Memorial Mass for Ruby Schneidhofer will be at held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Southampton on Friday May 17, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment of ashes to follow at Southampton Cemetery.
A Time of fellowship and refreshments will follow in the Community Hall, at St. Paul’s Anglican Church at 1:30 pm. Flowers are appreciated, but in lieu of flowers, donations made be made to McCormick Care Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
