Saugeen Shores Memorial Hospital Auxiliary committed $50,000 toward the new X-ray machine that has been installed in the hospital.
On Thursday, November 10th, Auxiliary President Rev. Anne Veyvara-Divinski presented the second of the Auxiliary’s three-instalment pledge of $17,000 to Hospital Foundation Executive Director, Tracy Murray.
“We are delighted to be able to help our local hospital when it comes to much-needed equipment,” said Veyvara-Divinski.
“The government does not provide any funding to hospitals for equipment,” added Murray, “therefore, funds must come from donations and fundraising campaigns so we are always so appreciative to the Auxiliary for their generosity.”
