Despite a blustery cool day on August 18th, the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Auxiliary 28th annual Golf Tournament attracted some 50 golfers.
The event held at Saugeen Golf Course is a major fundraiser for the volunteer-driven Auxiliary whose members raise money in support of patients and staff at hospital, in addition to the purchase of much needed medical and non-medical equipment.
Although at time of publishing the amount raised had not been determined, it was later learned that this year’s event raised more than $18,000.
