As we enter the holiday season, please note that many facilities are operating under temporary, modified hours during the 2022-23 holiday season: the Municipal Offices, the Southampton Landfill, the Southampton Coliseum, the Plex, and the Centennial Pool.
Services
Town Office
The Town Office holiday closure goes into effect at 12:00 pm on Friday, December 23, 2022:
- Friday, December 23 – Open, 8:30 am to 12:00 pm
- Saturday, December 24 to Monday, January 2 – Closed
The Town Office will resume its regular hours of operation at 8:30 am on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
Landfill
The Southampton Landfill is operating under a modified holiday hours schedule:
- Saturday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) – Open, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Monday, December 26 (Boxing Day) – Closed
- Wednesday, December 28 – Open, 9:00 am to 4:45 pm
- Friday, December 30 – Open, 9:00 am to 4:45 pm
- Saturday, December 31 (New Year’s Eve) – Open, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Monday, January 2 – Closed
The landfill will resume its regular hours of operations at 9:00 am on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.
Facilities
Arenas
The Coliseum and the Plex are closed on the following dates for Christmas and New Year’s:
- Saturday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) – Open until 12:00 pm
- Sunday, December 25 (Christmas Day) – Closed
- Monday, December 26 (Boxing Day) – Closed
- Tuesday, December 27 & Wednesday, December 28 – Coliseum Closed
- Sunday, January 1 (New Year’s Day) – Closed
Both arenas will operate under the holiday break skating schedule between Saturday, December 24, 2022, and Friday, January 6, 2023 (with the exception of Sunday, January 1). The arenas will return to their regular skating schedule on Saturday, January 7, 2023.
Pool
The Centennial Pool is operating under its holiday break pool schedule between Tuesday, December 27, 2022, and Friday, January 6, 2023:
- Saturday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) – Closed
- Sunday, December 25 (Christmas Day) – Closed
- Monday, December 26 (Boxing Day) – Closed
- Tuesday, December 27 to Friday, December 30 – Open, 7:30 am to 1:00 pm
- Saturday, December 31 (New Year’s Eve) – Closed
- Sunday, January 1 (New Year’s Day) – Closed
- Monday, January 2 to Friday, January 6 – Open, 7:30 am to 1:00 pm
The pool will begin its winter programming schedule on Saturday, January 7, 2023.
