When Rotarian Carolyn Cunliffe was diagnosed with a brain tumour, the Rotary Club of Saugeen Shores unanimously voted to donate to the ‘Bring TOM to Town’ campaign at the Saugeen Memorial Hospital.

On the Hospital Foundation site, Carolyn tells her story where she has also established a fundraising goal for the campaign.
She was diagnosed with a brain tumour on the right side of her brain. She was lucky to be able to get a CT scan in Owen Sound that helped diagnose her tumour but had to travel from the Southampton Hospital to do so. How great would it have been if she could have gotten the scan without transferring to another hospital? Giving people the option to have a faster diagnosis would be incredible!
“It means a lot to her that you are here to offer your support for a cause that she cares deeply about. We really need your help to bring TOM to town. Thank you so much for donating whatever you can, we won’t forget it,” says Foundation Executive Director, Tracy Murray.
