Saugeen Shores Tour of Gardens returns

It’s going to be an exciting July, as the Tour of Gardens returns for a second time after several years’ hiatus.

Hosted by the Southport Horticultural Society, visitors will have the opportunity to tour six gardens, including a feature in Jubilee Park by Saugeen Shores Butterflyway demonstrating what is needed to be a pollinators’ garden.

Once again, proceeds from the tour this year will go toward hospice care for Huron Shores Hospice in Tiverton that serves Saugeen Shores, Kincardine and the immediate surrounding communities.

“We are thrilled to be able again to help this incredible cause,” said Horticultural Society President Rosemarie Eger.  “Last year was our inaugural return, and we could never host the tour without our wonderful homeowners who open their gardens, our exceptional volunteers and, of course, our sponsors.”

The date for the Tour is Saturday, July 11th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with tickets at $30.00.
