Saugeen District Secondary School (SDSS) Royals Football Team received a grant that will go a long way for equipment.
The Society of United Professionals presented a cheque for $3,000 to the Royal on Friday, October 19th that will be used for updating practice equipment such as helmets and pads.
Eric Tiisler, Community Foundation Fund Chair for the Society of United Professionals presented the cheque to the Royals football team after the team applied for funding through the Society of United Professionals, Bruce Power Local Community Foundations Fund.
The Royals then went on to win their game 22 – 7 against Grey Highlands so it was a winning day all around.
