Saugeen Mobility and Regional Transit (SMART) is once again fully re-opened to serve clients, including those who travel outside of Grey and Bruce for medical appointments.
COVID-19 protocols will remain in place that include wearing of masks by drivers and clients, hand sanitizer required and vehicles will be sanitized between clients. In addition, the number of clients in each vehicle will be restricted until further notice.
SMART is a specialized public transit service that is supported by four municipalities in Grey County and five in Bruce County to provide transportation solutions for local residents who cannot, or have difficulty, using conventional public transit or taxi.
Service is available Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is no service on Sundays or statutory holidays, except for dialysis treatment.
