Snow and cold have shut down Bruce County and most of southern Ontario. High winds have made travel almost impossible as most roads are closed.
In Saugeen Shores, Highway 21, Lake Road, Doll sideroad, Paisley Road and others are all closed to traffic.

Bruce County has also informed that all plows are ceasing operations today, Friday, January 23, 2026, at 6 p.m. due to unsafe weather conditions on County roadways.
This means that all winter maintenance activities on County roads will come to a full stop until further notice.
There are currently numerous road closures by police order within Bruce County. Driving on a roadway closed by police order is against the law and puts you, your passengers, and others at risk. Abandoned vehicles are also subject to towing at owner’s expense and to possible fines.
