Voter turn-out was low in South Bruce Peninsula as 5,594 (42.5%) of 13,160 electors who were eligible voted in this ballot. It was also an upset in South Bruce Peninsula as incumbent Mayor Janice Jackson (2491 votes) was defeated by Garry Michi (2853).
