The first draw of the Southampton Rotary ‘Dinner of the Month’ raffle took place on Wednesday, January 6th at 7:00 p.m. at Rotary Hall (under license #M813891).
The lucky winner of a $250 gift certificate for the Walker House was Heather Briggs from Southampton. In addition, a $50 gift certificate for the Little Black Dog was won by Linda Harwood from Port Elgin.
The names of the winners will be posted on the Rotary website (southamptonrotary.com) and Facebook page (Facebook.com/southamptonrotary).
The winners will be contacted by a member of Southampton Rotary to arrange for the delivery of their gift certificate.
All winning tickets will be returned to the drum so that they are included in future draws. There will be five more draws which will take place on the first Wednesday of each month until June 2nd.
There is still the opportunity to purchase tickets before the end of January, which will be included in the next five draws for a $250 and $50 gift certificates. They are $25 each or 5 for $100. Call Sylvia at 519-797-3151 or email rotary1938@gmail.com.
Southampton Rotary wanted to support our local restaurants by purchasing six gift certificates of $250 and six for $50. President Jenny Amy said, “We are amazed at the outstanding support of our community. The ‘Dinner of the Month Draw’ has raised well over $15,000 which will be used for Rotary’s local and international projects. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets so that Southampton Rotary can continue to be of service during these difficult times.”
