It’s back!!! After a break of two years, Southampton Rotary is holding their 19th Dinner Auction at the Lakeside Room at the Walker House on Saturday October 29th from 5.30p.m.
This year’s event will feature a “Bubbles” reception sponsored by Century 21 Saugeen Team. Dinner will be the Walker House’s delicious signature three course Prime Rib Dinner or a chicken or vegetarian options.
There will be door prizes, a 50/50 draw, fun games and amazing auction items generously donated by local businesses and individuals. Proceeds from the Silent and Live Auction will go to Southampton Rotary projects. Donations to the ‘Fund a Need’ will be used to purchase a horse for PRANCE.
We are thrilled to welcome Bill Walker as our Auctioneer. Bill is an accomplished and entertaining auctioneer, former MPP, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario and now President and CEO of the Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCNI).
PRANCE stands for Pegasus Riding Association Nurturing Challenged Equestrians and is a therapeutic equestrian center dedicated to the growth and development of individuals with intellectual, physical and emotional challenges through experiences with horses.
Sadly, one of PRANCE’s horses passed away recently. They have found another horse called King, but need financial help to purchase him. Donations of $20 or more to the ‘Fund a Need’ will receive a charitable receipt from Southampton Rotary Club.
