Mayor Luke Charbonneau stopped in at Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House in Port Elgin (Saugeen Shores) on Wednesday, September 16th. He was there to try his hand at serving but decided instead to enjoy a breakfast.
“I was going to try serving but knew that I should leave it up to the professionals and not get in the way,” said the Mayor. “I also wanted to personally thank Deep for his generosity to our local hospital Foundation.”
Deep Patel, the franchise owner of Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House, is donating one dollar ($1) from every waffle, pancake and french toast order during the the month of September.
Patel is also going to match the month of donations personally.
