A group of hard-working volunteers have recently built a ride-on railway at the Bruce County Heritage Farm located two kilometres south of Paisley off County Road 3.

They will be offering rides to the public during the Heritage Farm Show three-day event being held August 15, 16 and 17, 2025. The trains are 1/8 scale and will be operating on a layout that consists of over 1,000 feet of track. There are four engines to pull several freight and passenger cars.

Everyone is invited to come out and see what has been accomplished and to enjoy a train ride.
For younger generations, it may be the first time ever to experience a ‘train ride’.
The group is also in the process of re-building a full-scale locomotive, has railroad memorabilia on display and will be operating battery and live steam-garden railways (1/20, G scale) on the raised track.
All these items plus live steam-traction engines will be available to compliment all the other features of the three-day show.
