STFC Athletes Win 11 medals in NXTChamp Invitational

With the cancellation of so many school activities due to Covid restrictions in the last two years, the NXTChamp Invitational was initiated to create elite competition for both high school and club athletes. The meet is hosted in Toronto and athletes are only offered an invitation if they are among the top ranked athletes in their age group in the province.

Saugeen Track and Field Club was well represented by our local talent as they returned with 11 medals, including 7 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze. They also recorded 4 personal best (PB) and 2 seasonal best (SB) performances that moved our athletes into the top 10 rankings in Canada.
