Passing the Torch!
Family legacies are in the making as Instructors Bob Kahgee and Kenny Kilday of the Saugeen Sparks Training Centre are not only skilled mentors but proud grandfathers, sharing their passion for welding with the next generation.
Bob stands proudly with his grandsons Donovon Kewageshig, Wade Kewageshig, and Braden Kahgee, continuing a legacy of learning and tradition.
Similarly, Kenny celebrates a special moment with his grandson Bryce MacLean, passing down his expertise and love for the trade.
This moment captures the strength of tradition and the importance of passing down skills and knowledge to the next generation. Bob and Kenny are not not just teaching a trade – they’re helping their grandsons carry on a proud family tradition through the strength of tradition and passing on their knowledge.
This is more than just welding—it’s about creating opportunities, preserving heritage, and inspiring the next generation to build a brighter future.
