For residents and visitors who are wanting to spend a Friday exploring Southampton, make sure to include the Marine Artisans Market from 9:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m.
Adjacent to the Coliseum (arena), behind the Town Hall, the Marine Heritage Society hosts a market with vendors and artisans from across Grey, Bruce and Huron counties. From artwork to fresh produce, jewelry to jams, there is something for everyone.

While strolling the market, there is no need to go elsewhere for lunch as the on-site Rotary Club of Saugeen Shores provides a BBQ with delicious burgers, hot dogs and sausages.
On Friday, July 7th, Captain Wayne Sparrow made an appearance at the Market in celebration of the upcoming Marine Heritage Festival that will be held July 21st – 23rd, when the community of Southampton celebrates its marine history with a myriad of activities.

The Market runs each Friday throughout the summer to September. For a complete schedule of summer Marine Heritage fun and the Marine Heritage Festival, Click the Image below.
