Once again, the last Cruisers’ night in Southampton signals the end of the summer.
On Thursday, August 29th, the final Cruisers’ night was filled to capacity with classic cars and vehicles and visitors who took in the show.
The annual car show, initiated by Gary Brown (a.k.a. Mr.Cruiser), has become a fundraiser for local health care, with all proceeds being donated to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital in Southampton.
To date, the show has raised more than $270,000 for the local hospital through an entry fee of a toonie ($2) per vehicle and 50/50 draws held each Thursday held by local volunteers.
