Southampton summers appear to be getting busier each year.

On Friday, July 12th, crowds of visitors took in the annual Marine Heritage Market held at the Boathouse and Coliseum where vendors offered a wide variety of items from garden produce to craft wines, books, handcrafted items and souvenirs.

The Market is held each Friday throughout the summer behind the Southampton Town Hall and has become a mainstay for summer visitors and local residents alike.

Captain Wayne Sparrow also dropped by to remind everyone of the upcoming Marine Heritage Festival being held the weekend of July 26th, 27th and 28th at the Southampton Harbour.
The annual Festival is free and features something for all ages, including BBQs, breakfast, live music, beer gardens and the popular Cardboard Boat Races.
