Summer in Saugeen Shores – where there’s something for everyone

I admit it.  I am guilty of eavesdropping.

I heard an interesting comment the other day when i was out ‘n’ about from a woman who, I assumed, was a visitor.  She said to the person with her …. “I wonder what there is to do in a small town like this.”  Obviously, she must have been from an ‘urban’ community.

But it made me stop and think … hmmm, what is there to do in this small community?

While I was out ‘n’ about over the past two weekends, I thought I would take a ‘few’ photos of what there is to do … mind you, it’s only over two weekends and summer has really just begun!

Now, all of this is not including the beautiful beaches, walks along the boardwalk, all the golf courses, the Summer Music camp, the Bruce Power FUNfest free family event, the Gran Fondo cycling hospital fundraiser and the award-winning Marine Heritage three-day Festival and boat tours to Chantry Island lighthouse among many other events.

Nope … not much to do here in this small community!
