The comedy continues when Naked Radio comes to town

This is a summer of much-needed comedy taking to the stage thanks to the Bruce County Playhouse.

The first of the three productions, ‘The Beaver Cub’, played to sold-out performances at Southampton Town Hall Theatre and the comedy continues when ‘Naked Radio’ comes to town on July 24th.

Bought out by a large corporation, the local radio station loses its human connection when its popular DJs are replaced by a “tech-savvy”, pre-programmed, “soulless, sterile silver box”. But when the box “inexplicably” loses its feed and a powerful blizzard descends on the entire county, the two DJs are swept back into service.

Knowing that “dead air” is something they cannot afford, the two DJs, along with their trusted station manager, must improvise hours of on-air entertainment with live music, stories and song, as they contend with a host of wacky call-in characters.

This hilarious musical reminds us all, of the importance of human connection, all the while sharing an uproarious behind the scenes look at what it takes to provide an entertaining lineup of spontaneous and joyful programming.
