Thousands attend annual Bruce Power Block Party

It was a sultry summer day with temperatures climbing to 30 degrees Celsius but that didn’t stop the more than 5,000 people who attended the 2019 Bruce Power Block Party.

This year, the Party was held at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine on Saturday, July 20th,  where there were line-ups for the free family midway rides, inflatables and face-painting.  Free carnival snacks kept Party goers happy and, upon entering the grounds, Bruce Power handed out water bottles that could be refilled at the several water stations so that people were also hydrated.

The Block Party rotates each year between Kincardine and Saugeen Shores (Port Elgin) and is Bruce Power’s appreciation to the communities for their support.
