It was St. Patrick’s Day (Mar. 17) and Wismer House and Three Sheets Brewery owner, Jeff Carver, announced the tentative opening day for his new Brewery facility in Port Elgin.
Carver opened Three Sheets Brewery at its current location at the Wismer House on Goderich Street in Port Elgin on January 31st in time for the Super Bowl weekend and big game on February 2nd 2020. The Brewery and retail store opened in an addition that was made to the Wismer House.
Since then, the craft beer produced has been successful beyond expectations and Carver decided it was time to expand. Despite a pandemic, the brewery grew to include providing service at the Saugeen Golf and Country Club and was the major beer provider at the recent Tankard Curling championship event held in Port Elgin in February of this year.
Now, Three Sheets is expanding once again with a new production facility at the north end of Port Elgin to meet the demand of the popular beers being produced.
