With the province’s announcement yesterday regarding March Break postponement, the Nuclear Innovation Institute (NII) has shifted its virtual ‘Best Ever March Break Camp’ to April 12th -16th.
Children who are currently enrolled in the camp will retain their spots.
That being said, in a couple of days after launching the camp, NII reached its maximum registration numbers and, because of this, NII is asking that if families’ holiday plans have changed and students are unable to participate in the program in April, that parents consider un-enrolling their children. This is a very popular program, and NII wants to make sure that everyone who is enrolled uses their spot!
NII still has lots of fun STEM activities to keep students entertained at home this winter: NII Explore’s #STEM lesson plans are easy-to-follow, engaging, and use everyday items found in people’s own homes. The public can explore these activities at nii.ca/explore and parents, caregivers and teachers are encouraged to join the conversation and follow NII on Instagram @niiexplore.
