For 10 years, the senior men’s hockey Saugeen Shores Winterhawks have continued to support local health care and other organizations in the community.
On May 12th, Gord Lamont, President of the Winterhawks, presented a donation of more than $3,000 to Graham Martin, Executive Director of the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.
“The Winterhawks have generously donated $14,744 to the Hospital Foundation over the past 10 years,” said Martin.
“It’s thanks to our loyal fans that we are able to help out in the community,” said Lamont, adding that the organization hopes to “… do even better next time around.”
