The Saugeen Shores Senior Men’s Winterhawks of the Ontario Elite Hockey League are now in the 2025 play-offs.
The team was fifth in the standings and played the fourth place Tavistock Royals on Friday, February 7th in Port Elgin, defeating them soundly at 5-2.
It was a capacity crowd at the home game on Friday for the Winterhawks at the
Port Elgin PLEX arena and the next game moved to Tavistock’s home game for Saturday, February 8th.
Fortunately, thanks to Three Sheets Brewing Company of Saugeen Shores, those who can’t make the out-of-town games are now able to watch the games live on a BIG screen at the Tap Room in the Brewing Company.
The first out-of-town playoff game is taking place on Saturday, February 8th at 7:30 p.m.
