Saugeen Shores Police entered into an investigation after a man arrived at the Police Station to report that he had just assaulted another male in the Town of Saugeen Shores. The male was placed under arrest for assault at that time.
Police received a second call from a male who advised he was the victim of the assault. Officers responded to a residence and observed the victim to have significant injuries and required medical attention.
As a result of this incident a 47-year-old male has been charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm. Both males were known to each other and there is no concern for public safety.
May 10th 2025
On May 10th 2025 at 4:30am Police responded to a report of a possible break and enter at a business in the area of 140 High street in the Town of Southampton. Officers arrived on scene and determined that no one was inside the building. Security Cameras were in place and police are reviewing images at this time.
