Each year, Saugeen District Senior School (SDSS) in Port Elgin (Saugeen Shores) presents what has been described in the past as a “professionally choreographed and acted musical”.
This year, the drama and music program students will be presenting ‘Freaky Friday the Musical’ on May 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th.
Developed by Disney Theatrical Productions, this hilarious, contemporary update features a mother and daughter who really see what it is to be a family and experience each other’s lives first-hand, if only for a day
The overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swap bodies and have just one day to put things right again. By spending a day in each other’s shoes, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate one another’s struggles, learn self-acceptance, and realize the immeasurable love and mutual respect that bond a mother and daughter.
