Applications for Legislative Assembly pages now open to grade 7 and 8 students

Each year high-achieving, community-oriented Grade 7 and 8 students from across Ontario are chosen to serve as Legislative Pages. This unique opportunity in Toronto allows selected students to become involved in Ontario’s parliamentary process, meet key figures, and make lifelong friendships with like-minded peers. Applications for the Fall 2026 term are due June 15th to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario Page Portal.

Pages are responsible for working in the Chamber during House sittings, delivering documents to MPP’s offices and assembly offices, they receive lessons and tutoring, and they have lots of fun!

“I was proud to have one student from Huron-Bruce participate in the Page Program this past year and it was awesome to see the student excel and the family pride that was evident when family members visited the Legislative Assembly to see their Page in action,” said Lisa Thompson, MPP for Huron-Bruce.

Applicants must attend school in Ontario and be entering Grade 8 in the Fall of 2026. To be considered, each student must have an academic average of Level 4 (80%) or higher. The Legislative Assembly is only looking for great students with a passion for learning to apply.

Applicants are required to submit an essay to the Page Portal by June 15th for consideration. If you or someone you know may be interested in applying, please visit: https://www.ola.org/en/visit-learn/programs/about-page-program
