The contentious Cedar Crescent Village (CCV) beach proposal for Port Egin is now in litigation with the Town of Saugeen Shores due to its non-compliance with the 50-year lease agreement timelines over several years and due to public opposition.
According to sources however, the battle is not yet won by either party and is still ongoing, given that the proponent (CCV) is apparently about to present yet another proposal for development on the main beach.
