Tomorrow, Saturday, August 15, Gran Fondo Lake HuronĀ presented by Bruce Power and SuppliersĀ returns to Saugeen Shores in support of local healthcare.
As our community welcomes hundreds of cyclists, we’d like to let you know thatĀ all roads will remain open to both vehicles and riders throughout the event.Ā If you are travelling on Saturday morning, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the event routes and allow a little extra time for your travels.

Riders will begin departing atĀ 7:00 a.m., with the majority expected to complete their rides byĀ 12:00 p.m.
TheĀ busiest areasĀ throughout the morning are expected to be:
- Thede Side Road, Port Elgin
- Wellington Street and Gustavus Street intersection, Port Elgin
- Market Street and Harbour Street intersection, Port Elgin
- Start line: Near Fairy Lake, High Street, Southampton
- Finish line: Flag Pole, High Street, Southampton

A special thank you to Randy Schnarr and his granddaughter, who have been out in the community posting signs along the routes to help raise awareness of Saturday’s event and keep riders and everyone travelling our roads safe. We truly appreciate you helping spread the word!
