
A search warrant executed in the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie resulted in the seizure of a quantity of illegal drugs, stolen vehicles and a firearm.
An investigation initiated by members of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) and Offender Management and Apprehension Program (OMAP) led investigators to an address in the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie.
On Tuesday, July 28, 2026, a search warrant was executed at an address on Concession 4, which resulted in the seizure of suspected methamphetamine, a firearm and ammunition, multiple vehicles, and offence-related property including phones and construction equipment. The estimated street value of the suspected controlled substances is $1940, and the recovered property value is estimated at $90,500.
A 51-year-old male from Arran-Elderslie, has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with:
- Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 – five counts
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000
- Possession of a Firearm of Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order – three counts
This individual was also charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – methamphetamine
A 57-year-old from Arran-Elderslie, has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with:
- Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 – five counts
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000
This individual was also charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – methamphetamine
A 34-year-old from Arran-Elderslie, has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with:
- Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 – five counts
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000
This individual was also charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – methamphetamine
A 36-years-old female from Arran-Elderslie, has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with:
- Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 – five counts
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000
This individual was also charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – methamphetamine
All four charged parties were arrested, held for a bail hearing, and remanded into custody.
Officers from the South Bruce OPP, Grey-Bruce OPP CSCU, Wellington County OPP CSCU, South Bruce OPP OMAP, Provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE), West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit, Central Region Tactics and Rescue Unit, West Region Emergency Response Team and West Region OPP Canine Unit assisted with the investigation.
