Dear Editor:
After a bad fall I had five weeks ago, a friend said to me “bad things happen to good people” all the time. Well, earlier this week, I found out that good things can also happen to good people, some of the time!
While at my weekly physio appointment, I found myself in a situation where I could not justify the cost of an item recommended to aid in my recovery. A complete stranger, witness to this in the waiting room, stepped forward and asked if I would let him pay for it for me. Before I knew what was happening, he had handed his charge card over and the deed was done!
I am humbled by his actions.
I am forever grateful for his kindness.
And I am overwhelmed by his generosity.
Thank you to whoever you are.
