The Town of Saugeen Shores is excited to invite the community to the Splish Splash Thank You Bash – Grand Opening and Donor Celebration at the new Pryde Aquatic & Wellness Centre.
The event will take place on Saturday, January 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with doors opening at 9:00 a.m. and drop‑in attendance welcome throughout the morning.
The event will officially open the long‑anticipated facility, beginning with remarks at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Mayor’s ceremonial Cannonball into the new pool. Guests can enjoy refreshments, activities, tours, and a chance to see the new amenities firsthand.

While the Grand Opening and Donor Celebration wraps up at 12:30 p.m., the fun continues throughout the day:

The Town looks forward to welcoming residents, donors, and partners to the completion of this major community milestone as the Pryde Aquatic & Wellness Centre opens its doors to the public.
The Centre will open for regular operational hours on Monday, January 26th beginning at 6:00 a.m. Visit www.saugeenshores.ca/PrydeAWC for schedules and programs.
The Pryde Aquatic and Wellness Centre is designed to be a regional hub for recreation and wellness, offering an 8-lane competition pool, leisure pool, fitness centre, indoor track, gymnasium, and multi-purpose program rooms to serve people of all ages and abilities. Construction of the Pryde Aquatic and Wellness Centre is a Major Initiative for the Town’s Community Services Department, as outlined in the Saugeen Shores 2025 Business Plan.
