Living in what is considered a rural community, it is difficult to believe that the issue of ‘human trafficking’ can rear its ugly head, but it does.
On Wednesday, November 6th, Faith Lutheran Church Hall in Port Elgin is lending its facility to a panel of experts on the subject, included representatives from The Women’s House(s), Victim Services, Crime Stoppers and Saugeen Shores Police Service.
This is an opportunity to become more aware and even recognize signs that it may be taking place with those close to you. A question and answer (Q&A) session will also take place for those who want to learn more, followed by refreshments.
Admission for this important event is free.
