Mother Nature brought her finest for the August long weekend and, Shoreline Artists were particularly pleased as they held their annual ‘Art on the Fence’ exhibit and sale.
The popular outdoor event, held at Chantry Breezes B&B in Southampton on Saturday August 3rd, attracted hundreds of visitors.
While the annual show is an opportunity for local artists to display and sell some of their works, it is also an opportunity for out-of-town visitors to meet some of the area’s accomplished artists.
From paintings to pottery and unusual driftwood creations, the exhibition showcases the wide variety of talent that the Shoreline Artists have become known for.

The next show is just around the corner when the Shoreline Artists present ‘Waves of Inspiration’ starting on August 16th with a wine and cheese reception at 7:00 p.m. at The Club at Westlinks (formerly Piper’s Glen Golf) in Port Elgin. The opening begins a two-day exhibition and sale of local artists’ works on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
