Action got underway in the 2021-22 season of the BrokerLink Insurance Grey Bruce Major League Wednesday night at the Tara Curling Club.
Al Hutchinson of Paisley downed Team Absalute Automotive skipped by Don Bartley of Tara 7-3.
Team Joey Rettinger of Walkerton took three in the eighth end for an 8-6 comeback win over Team Holiday Inn Express and Suites of Tara skipped by Scott Davidson.
Last year’s champions, the Mike Hamer rink from Port Elgin, picked up right where they left off topping Adam Alpaugh’s Tara squad 7-2.
Action resumes next Wednesday in Tara at 8:00 p.m.
