Please join us on Friday, May 1st for the special opening of the exhibit They Are Loved – an epidemic of grief by artist Tracey-Mae Chambers.
The exhibit uses textiles donated by families surviving a loss due to substance consumption. These fabrics are cut into strips and tied together, forming a growing installation that represents shared grief and connection.
Through this project, Tracey-Mae aims to raise awareness of the lives lost across Canada and physically show that each person was loved. Though born from her own personal loss, this project will grow to represent hundreds of loved ones.
