Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre re-opening for an exciting summer

The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre has been preparing to deliver you an exciting summer of discovering Bruce County history. The BCM&CC is reopening to members on Monday, July 26, 2021, and to everyone on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.

The BCM&CC is excited to have you back exploring the museum while continuing to put public safety first by following all public health guidelines. Take a few moments to schedule your visit in advance, as there are capacity restrictions. Each day, Monday to Saturday, there will be two times available for bookings: 10 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 4:30 PM. When you are completing the reservation, ensure you include all members of your party in your reservation, including children under four, visit brucemuseum.ca to schedule your visit today.

The Archives & Research Room is open Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 12 PM and 1:30 PM to 4 PM, and will be accessible by reserved researchers only at this time. There are two reservation time periods per day for a maximum of two research workspaces. Book online at brucemuseum.ca.

There is so much to explore during reopening week, including two ‘Speaking of Wildlife’ in-person shows on Wednesday, Tomboi Artisan Ice Cream serving up delicious cool treats on Thursday, and LEGO™ Friday is back with a virtual special guest “BrickinNick.”

Now is also a perfect time to purchase or renew a Museum Membership. Beginning on July 26 until August, 31, 2021 you can renew or purchase a Museum Membership and you will receive an additional three months of membership free!
