Bruce County Playhouse brings back a summer of live professional theatre

Once again, Bruce County Playhouse brings to Southampton (Saugeen Shores) a summer of live professional theatre.

The first up is a feel-good comedy by Norm Foster, ‘Halfway There’, that wraps audiences in warmth and laughter, capturing the comfort of friendship and the joy of finding your people.
Halfway There
This hilarious, heartwarming comedy celebrates the unbreakable bonds of female friendship.

Think Steel Magnolias meets And Just Like That…. Four lovable women gather every Friday for coffee and conversation at a small-town diner in Stewiacke, where everyone knows everyone—and everyone’s business.

Life takes an unexpected turn when a charming new doctor arrives in town and shows interest in the youngest of the group, prompting her three outspoken friends to offer plenty of advice, opinions, and comic interference. Packed with humour, heart, and a touch of romance, it’s the perfect night out with a friend or loved one.

In a town famous for being halfway between the North Pole and the equator, secrets don’t stay hidden for long—especially when gossip is shared over daily coffee.

The show runs each evening from June 26th – July 11th at Southampton Town Hall Theatre with a special Canada Day discount of 25% followed on July 2nd with a matinee at 2:00p.m.  Evening show times are 8:00 p.m.
