Bruce Power Executive Vice President, Operational Services receives promotion

In addition to the recent announcement of the retirement of Bruce Power’s President and CEO, Mike Rencheck, James Scongack has been promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice-President, supporting site integration with a focus on transformation, engagement and cross-functional alignment.

“Not a day goes by that I’m not immensely proud and amazed by the work done at Bruce Power to power our great province for the long term, and produce life-saving medical isotopes,” says Scongack, former Chief Development Officer and Executive Vice President, Operational Services.

He adds that it’s the people, communities, suppliers, industry partners, committed investors, government, unions and many others that come together to make this happen by working together.

“I’m looking forward to this new role as we write the next chapter of our story as Canada’s Flagship Energy Asset. Always with a goal of being at our best, putting people first, making a difference and never giving up!

Thanks to Eric Chassard for the opportunity, and also to Mike Rencheck, and all of my colleagues across the organization for the privilege to work alongside of you everyday- we have something very special here at Bruce Power,” says Scongack.
