Bruce Telecom contributes to Pryde Aquatic and Wellness Centre

The Town of Saugeen Shores is proud to announce a generous $50,000 contribution of internet and phone services from Bruce Telecom to support the new Pryde Aquatic and Wellness Centre (AWC). This donation will be recognized through the sponsorship of the lifeguard station in the new facility.
“As the local telecommunications provider serving our community for 115 years, Bruce Telecom is proud to support the Pryde Aquatic and Wellness center with internet and phone services,” said Stephanie Brunato, General Manager at Bruce Telecom. “These connections help ensure the facility, and the people who rely on it, stay connected. We believe that services and space like this are vital to our community’s well-being and help make Saugeen Shores one of the best places in the world to live.”

Established in 1911, Bruce Telecom began with rural roots as farmers came together to create the Bruce Municipal Telephone System. Today, they provide home and mobile telephone services, high-speed internet, and digital television.

“Bruce Telecom’s commitment to keeping our community connected speaks to the kind of partnership that helps Saugeen Shores thrive,” said Mayor Luke Charbonneau. “We are grateful for their support and the role their services will play in the operations of the Pryde Aquatic and Wellness Centre.

As the Centre prepares for its Grand Opening event on January 24, Bruce Telecom’s contribution is one of many generous donations that have helped make the facility a reality. Opportunities for support and sponsorship are still available for businesses looking to get involved. Members of the public can also continue to purchase commemorative bricks to leave a lasting mark on this exciting community space. For more information, visit www.justaddwaternow.ca.
