The Canadian Tire Basketball League completed another amazing season with celebratory pizza generously provided by Boston Pizza. The league would not be a success without the Mowbray’s from Canadian Tire (Port Elgin). As the main sponsor, they have provided support for the league with no hesitation providing funds to supply T-Shirts for all the players.
The league was full in the grade 4-6 and 7-8 divisions with 40 players in each division and the high school division had the highest turnout in years with 32 players.
Congrats to all that participated and we hope to see you playing basketball in your driveways, at parks or at a court near you. Maybe a future Raptor is living in Saugeen Shores!
To the students of Saugeen District Secondary School (SDSS) who volunteered many hours as coaches, referees, and timers, the convenors of the league thank you for all the effort and time invested in creating future SDSS student athletes.
