#3 – The Mulholland Home

Matt Mulholland and Melissa Carr finished building their custom dream home on Carter Drive in 2019. After building and moving numerous times over the years, the Mulholland’s found the perfect location for their forever home.
Set back just off the lake in the quiet Miramichi Shores subdivision, just the design of this custom modern home took a year for Melissa and Matt to finish. Their vision was to have an ultra modern house that was perfect for entertaining and spending quality family time.
Melissa took the reins on the design and decorating, while Matt made their visions come to life. With over 7,600 sq ft of finished living space on three levels, the house was built around its heart and grand showpiece – a three story custom-fabricated modern steel staircase made by Jim and (his late father) Charlie Feddema. The stairs are topped off with clear, crisp looking-glass standoff railings giving an unobstructed views throughout the home.
The home features a modern open concept design, 21 foot ceilings in the great room with two-story double-sided fireplaces, in-floor radiant heat throughout, quartz counters top to bottom, an ultra sleek entertainment kitchen featuring a 17 ft. ‘party’ island, a commercial 1,100 sq. ft. gym, an entertainment area featuring a home theatre, shuffle board, pool table and bar area. Treat yourself after a long day in the modern spa like ensuite with an 8’ x 12’ tub/shower room.
Finally, sit back and relax in the private fenced in backyard while enjoying the pool, hot tub and fully equipped pool/guest house.
