Clean Water Centre staff participate in the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup

Last week, Walkerton Clean Water Centre (CWC) staff participated in the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup.

CWC staff picked up litter along the Saugeen River, from South Street to Lobies Park, to help keep the community beautiful.

The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup addresses the issues of litter and plastic pollution in  communities.  Litter is a critical issue facing all of Canada’s waterways in communities across the country, from lakes and rivers to every ocean coastline and communities can be part of the solution.
